Sometimes there is beauty in the simple things in life, even the mundane. I’m not a professional photographer, or even a good one, for that matter. But I do know that cramming all the detail you possibly can into a photo isn’t always the way to go. It can be distracting. And there’s something about a black and white picture that just makes it stand out. It helps to bring out the boldness of the shadows and lines that a color picture can’t quite accomplish. Simplicity isn’t always easy, though. I took ten pictures of this and chose the best one. I know, I suffer so much in the name of art…
